Laser tube

The necessary power is calculated according to the following “formula”: 10 W for 1 mm of plywood. The most common thickness of this material is 4-6 mm, but sometimes it can reach up to 40 mm. Therefore, for small production, 60 W is quite enough.
Working area
The choice of working area size depends on the material dimensions. Plywood is supplied in large sheets that can be pre-cut into smaller pieces. To process plywood without pre-cutting, medium- and large-format machines with the working area from 1200×900 mm are most suitable. For the production of small items, desktop laser machines with the dimensions from 200×300 mm will be enough.
