WATTSAN NOVA

The Wattsan Nova is a 3-chuck tube laser cutting machine, equipped with a swivel laser head as standard. It is used for precision cutting of round, square, rectangular, oval tubes, channel steel, L-steel, and angle steel. The machine can cut carbon and stainless steel tube, copper, aluminum alloy tube, and other metals.

Standard configurations include a maximum processed pipe length of 6, 9, or 12 meters and a maximum diameter of 360 mm. Semi-automatic and automatic tube loading options are available.
We can also customise the size of the work area to suit your application.

Front, back and center chucks

A distinctive feature of Wattsan Nova is the presence of 3 pneumatic clamping chucks (front, back and center). The chucks rotate synchronously and move synchronously or individually.

The design of the machine is designed for reliable fixation of thick-walled pipes with a diameter of up to 360 mm, weighing up to 1500 kg (the machine can be equipped with chucks of the appropriate diameters).

Protect cabin

The protective cabin ensures safe operation and eliminates contamination. The viewing window is made of special protective glass according to European CE standards.

The smoke generated by cutting passes through the filter system inside the cabin, thus providing an environmentally friendly cutting without polluting the external environment.

Servo Follow-up

The auxiliary support is controlled by an independent servo motor to move up and down, mainly to perform auxiliary support for excessive deformation of long cut pipes. Especially for small diameter pipes. When the rear chuck is moved to the appropriate position, the auxiliary support can be lowered to avoiance.

Servo motors Yaskawa

The Wattsan Core Pro tube cutter is equipped with Yaskawa servo motors. The advantages of servo motors include: 2 times increased reliability margin, easy replacement in case of breakdown, minimal vibration, lightweight design, acceleration up to 0.8G and max chuck rotation speed up to 100 r/min.

The Wattsan NOVA equipped with a swivel cutting head for cutting pipes and punching holes up to 45 degrees.

This function is indispensable for the subsequent welding of butt-to-butt pipes, beveled pipes, short pipes, products connected with fixing bolts. Will increase the demand for products and increase the range of machined parts.

    In Wattsan Core and Core Pro tube cutting machines uses two clamps to hold the pipe-one at the front and one at the rear. This design is ideal for cutting standard lengths and smaller production volumes, offering good precision at a lower cost.
    In Wattsan Nova and Heavy duty tube cutting machines adds an additional chuck, usually in the middle, providing greater stability and higher accuracy. This setup is better suited for larger, heavier pipes and high-volume production, ensuring more precise cuts and reducing the risk of pipe movement during cutting.

    Follow-up unloading device
    The servo follower support system can self-center various tubes. Adjusts the height in real time according to the height of the pipe as it rotates, which can achieve a perfect fit during cutting and ensure cutting accuracy.
    When the chuck moves to the appropriate position, the auxiliary support is automatically lowered to avoid this.
    Suitable for long and short tubes, especially long tubes that only need to be punched without cutting, with high cutting accuracy.
    Each unloading device are made by Steel Structure, can hold heavy tubes.
    Semi-Automatic and Automatic Pipe Feeding

    To improve productivity, the machine can be equipped with an automatic vertical tube loading system with a maximum weight per batch of 1500 kg. At the same time, the machine can load round, square tubes and other types of tubes with a diameter of 20 to 80 mm, alternately feeding 1 pipe into the cutting zone.

    Semi-automatic lateral tube feeder that can hold 5 workpieces at the same time. The pipe is fed into the cutting zone either by chain feed for lighter pipes or rail feed for heavier pipes up to 1500 kg.

    FSCUT control system

    The intuitive FSCUT control system is designed to cut rectangular, round, elliptical, as well as angled and channel pipes with high precision and efficiency. Supports Automatic centering during processing, Fast frog jump, Bracket, Artifact Mode and Floating Mode, Corner Craft and many other functions.

    Tube loading and unloading length

    Standard length can be optional: 6m, 9m, 12m. The maximum unloading length can be increased to 3m, 6m, 9m, 12m metres depending on your application.

    Safety light curtain

    It will give an alarm if any intruder is detected when chucks are working at high speed, to prevent possible collision and protect both workers and the machine well.
