The Wattsan 5 in 1 manual laser welding system is a powerful machine with a Raycus or JPT 1500, 2000, or 3000 W fiber laser based on the client’s choice. Thus, equipment provides high-quality joints due to deep penetration and a narrow heating zone while being 4-5 times faster than traditional welding.
This machine has 5 functions: welding, full continuous cleaning, cutting, seam cleaning, and energy storage welding. Let’s take a closer look at each function individually.
Welding
This machine has “G2 Pro” in its name, which indicates the number of mirrors in the gun. There are two of them, and they can control the laser’s movement path, allowing you to achieve weld seams of different shapes during welding. There are 7 types at your service: line, circle, filled circle, hourglass, figure eight, and triangle.
During the welding process, in addition to the shape, you can control almost everything: the penetration depth, seam width, and wobble length. With this machine, you can achieve highly precise and neat welds. It also eliminates the noise, smoke, and hot sparks typically associated with welding. Everything will be clean and fast.
Cleaning
To switch between the functions, you need to change the lens and welding module to the corresponding ones. And here you have a continuous cleaning in your hands!
This kind of cleaning is ideal for quickly removing different types of dirt from broad sections of metal surfaces, ceramics, stone, bricks, etc. Rust, paints, carbon or soot, organics, paint — beware, laser cleaning can easily get rid of those! Important part! This type doesn’t work with wood or fatty contaminations.
Fast (and furious) cleaning of greater areas and thin layers of dirt or paints is what continuous laser cleaning is meant to do.
Thanks to the two mirrors, cleaning is not limited to a straight line, as with a single mirror configuration, but allows for various types of laser beams. This way, you can adjust the diameter, width, and laser spot to achieve uniform cleaning for each surface.
Weld cleaning
The speed and targeted application made us separate this function into its own category.
After welding, you may sometimes need to remove discoloration. For this, you could change the module, lens block, and switch the controller… Or simply replace the nozzle. Yes, cleaning the weld seam requires just one action from you.
This is a specialized local cleaning designed to eliminate discoloration, oxides, and microparticles after welding.
Cutting
If you suddenly need to trim something or remove excess material, the cutting module will come in handy. It is just as easy to switch as in the case of cleaning.
You can cut metal ranging from 2 to 22 mm thick, depending on the power of the emitter. Yes, it’s not a dedicated metal cutter, and you’ll be responsible for the straightness of the lines, but it will definitely be useful in metalworking production.
Storage welding
Another specialized function. It allows you to weld battery terminals to contacts without overheating. And don’t worry; no one will get hurt.
To start welding, you just need to change the nozzle. With this setup, you can perform through welding and rivet welding.
New line of laser welding machines
This is a welding machine from the new series of laser devices. What has changed?
First, the body is now smaller and black. We listened to customer feedback and made it so that it doesn’t get dirty, unlike the white ones from other companies or the ones we used to have. The device itself weighs 245 kg.
Second, the welding gun. We used to have AU3Tech and QILIN models, but none of them allowed our customers to fully realize the potential of this machine. So, we found a new, reliable, convenient, and lightweight gun from Relfar.
The gun weighs less than a kilogram and comes with 8 nozzles for all the tasks we mentioned. It also comes with a 10-meter cable that can be extended to 15 or 20 meters if necessary.
Let’s also mention the controller, which is also from Relfar. This ensures excellent interaction between the controller and the gun, as they are from the same brand. It includes a parameter library that can be expanded, supports multiple languages, and features convenient and simple touch controls.
Inside the shell
The laser source and chiller are located here. The source can be from JPT or Raycus, with power ranging from 1,500 to 3,000 kW.
This welding machine operates on water cooling. The chiller, which is conveniently placed inside the body, is traditionally from TEYU. These chillers will work reliably throughout their lifespan: the brand has been on the market for over 20 years, has numerous certifications, and customers in more than 100 countries.
The machine also features automatic wire feeding. It can be easily adjusted to suit your specific tasks, and if necessary, we can even provide a dual feeding system.
The wire feeding allows you to control the heating process and weld parts with poor fit-up, low-carbon steels, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals. The dual feeding system is essential when working with large gaps and enhances the strength and durability of the resulting weld seam.
What it can do, and who needs it
With laser welding, you can achieve butt joints, corner joints, T-joints, circular joints, lap joints, and edge welds. These can be performed on horizontal surfaces, vertical surfaces, or at any other angle.
As mentioned, this machine has two mirrors in the welding gun, allowing for different weld shapes. Why is this necessary? We offer 7 modes to choose from, which simulate the hand movements of a traditional welder, simplifying the operator’s work. This means you can either spend a lot of time practicing and perfecting all these shapes or simply use laser welding. These modes are selected based on the position of the seam, whether it’s on a corner or a flat surface, outside or inside.
