Hello! It is important to assemble the arriving laser marker in a proper way. Due to that reason, we have both a video and this article to help you out to prepare a new FL TT marker! Use the most comfortable form of receiving instructions.

So, before we start, you need to prepare some instruments: crowbar or a powerful slotted screwdriver, a hammer, also a knife and the film would be useful.

And now, pick up that wooden box, and let’s begin!

Unpacking and installing

Step one

Open the top cover and put it aside. And check whether there is any kind of obvious damage inside of the box. If you spot any to present, then take pictures and video and send them to the supplier.

Step two

Take the laser marker out of the box and carefully remove the packaging. Then place all of the parts on the surface and make sure that nothing is absent. You should have:

  • table;
  • rod;
  • stand with the screw;
  • box with electronics. It should contain the USB cable, power cable, glasses, monitor mount, key, USB flash drive, and the pedal;
  • lightpath with the scanner.

Step three

Attach the stand to the working table in any position convenient for you. To do so, use four screws to tighten them to each other. You may reattach the stand any time later on, so do not worry.

Now, take the module with the scanner. It has four screws in the slip nuts. Unscrew them lightly, move, and fix the position of the scanner. Screws should go inside the special notches on the top of the stand.

They must go all the way into these slots to hold the module properly!

Step four

Connect the power cable to the laser marker machine and fix it with the threaded collar—it goes into the lowest plug. Take the pedal and attach it to the machine’s second plug from the bottom. Then goes the USB cable and the power cable.

Important! The laser marker should be connected through a voltage regulator and must be tight to ground.

If you need to hang your computer monitor on the side of the marker, there is a special mounting bracket and screws for that.

Step five

Take a key and put it in the matching hole. Turn it and press buttons on the side of the marker’s housing. Via key, you’re turning on and off the power. One of them is responsible for the controller and the other one for the laser source.

Step six

Connect the computer to the laser marker by using the USB cable. Also, plug in the flash drive.

Setting up the marker

On the stand, you may find a millimeter scale that may help you to raise and lower the module with the scanner at the needed height.

Now, open the program, we use EzCad, and make a simple circle in the middle of the field. Set the speed to 500 and the power to 100%. Check the box for the continuous mode and put the material under the scanner.

Press “red”. There should be a visual representation of the future marking on the workingpiece. And press “Mark.” While it is being done, you have to lower and raise the scanner position until you find a place in which the marker produces a large amount of noise and sparks. This is going to be an optimal one.

Next, change the power to 10 or 15 percent and repeat the procedure.

After that, you need to set up the program you’re going to work in. This may differ based on your personal preferences, and in the video we describe how to do that in EzCad. Since a lot of things in this segment have to be shown, we recommend you watch it!

About FL TT

This marker can process various materials, from a wide range of metals to tiles, leather, plastics, and more. This machine allows you to apply QR codes, production dates and times, logos, and many other identification symbols and marks that are essential in business. It also performs well with customizing tasks.

However, the FL TT cannot process all types of metals and organic materials. If you want a fully universal laser marker, then you need the UV TT marker.
