The Wattsan RD 6033 fiber laser pipe cutter belongs to medium-heavy pipe cutters, it cuts not only standard pipes (circle, oval, square, rectangle), but also complex shapes like channels and I-beams.

The length of the processed pipes is 6 meters, the maximum diameters are 220 mm – 330 mm. Gracefully performs shape cutting: notches, cuts holes, creates complex geometric shapes with perfect precision, high quality edges and edge definition. The machine allows precision processing of both large, thick-walled workpieces (up to 12 mm) and light, thin-walled pipes (from 0.5 to 1 mm).

FSCUT control system

The FSCUT 5000 B is the latest generation of controllers with enhanced functionality compared to the FSCUT 3000 program. It has even greater speed and stability. Allows you to fully unlock the full potential of the machine, simplifies the production process.

TubePro software is used to control the machine, and TubesT software is used to prepare layouts and files for pipes. It is with the help of Tube Pro that the machine detects and compensates for the deviation of the tube from the center of rotation of the chuck during the production process in order to guarantee high cutting accuracy. Drives the servos up or down according to the position of the chuck to support heavy pipes and ensure the safety of the machine.

Pipe supports

The pipe cutter has 2 servo supports and 3 pneumatic supports to support the material being processed, helping to prevent the pipe from swaying during machine operation. Two servo supports of the machine in the loading area (on the main body of the machine) follow the contour of the pipe/profile during rotation.

Three pneumatic fluoroplastic pipe supports in the unloading area. 5 supports of the machine eliminate its distortion during the cutting process and allow you to work with both standard and large-sized workpieces. Eliminate swaying of the pipe when cutting.

Front and back chucks

By default, the machine is equipped in the front of the machine with a square roller chuck, with a self-centering pneumatic clamp. In the back of the machine – fixing clamping “sponges”. Clamping devices do not require retrofitting. For the user, this guarantees short processing times and high productivity.

Servo motors and gearboxes : Yaskawa & Nidec Shimpo

Machine servo drive system: Yaskawa (Japan), reducers Nidec Shimpo (Japan). The machine has 5 YASKAWA servo motors: one on the front chuck, one on the back and one motor each for X, Y and Z axes. 1.8 kW, X-750 W, Z-400 W.

Ability to choose laser source

Ultra-efficient premium IPG laser source. Versatile, suitable for cutting non-ferrous metals, ferrous and stainless steel. It has reliable protection of the fiber from back reflection, which eliminates its failure due to the shooting of the laser beam. Works steadily at full capacity. 3 years warranty from the manufacturer.

Powerful laser source Raycus works with any metals, including non-ferrous ones, however, it is inferior to IPG laser sources in terms of the maximum cut thickness and the degree of protection of the fiber from reverse radiation. 2 years warranty from the manufacturer.

Protect cabin

The protective cabin ensures safe operation and eliminates contamination. The viewing window is made of special protective glass according to European CE standards.

The smoke generated by cutting passes through the filter system inside the cabin, thus providing an environmentally friendly cutting without polluting the external environment.

Bevel cutting

The Wattsan RD 6033 can be equipped with a swivel cutting head for cutting pipes and punching holes up to 45 degrees.

This function is indispensable for the subsequent welding of butt-to-butt pipes, beveled pipes, short pipes, products connected with fixing bolts. Will increase the demand for products and increase the range of machined parts.

Electrical cabinet

All electrics of Wattsan RD 6033 are located in a separate block next to the machine.     To prevent the pipe from swinging during the cutting process, 3 pneumatic fluoroplastic supports are implemented on the main body of the machine. They provide reliable and precise positioning of the workpiece.
    At the front, the pipe cutter can be equipped with a finished goods receiving unit designed for directional, ergonomic unloading of workpieces at a safe height. This block can also be equipped with two fluoroplastic supports. This option is optional and is used in the case of cutting longer pipes, to intensively dampen vibrations during processing and maintain a high quality of cutting.
    Long working life with quality components

    Wattsan pipe cutters are used with chillers from the leading company TEYU, which allows you to work with well-known brands of laser sources. The chiller saves the life of the most fragile and expensive elements in the machine. That is why the chiller is one of the most important parts in a pipe cutter.

    For ease of use, the laser complex is equipped with a centralized automatic lubrication system. The system supplies lubricating fluid to the moving elements at a predetermined pressure and interval.
